Microsoft Exchange Configuration Settings
for handling Internet Mail

General:

This procedure provides the necessary instructions for configuring the Microsoft Exchange Utility for handling E-mail. It is useful for E-mail only customers,
and for customers with multiple E-mail accounts.

Procedure:

1. Start Microsoft Exchange by double-clicking on the Inbox icon.

2. Once the program is running (You may have to accept some error codes during the start-up sequence), click on TOOLS, then OPTIONS.

3. Under the GENERAL tab, click "Prompt for a profile to be used".

4. Click APPLY, then click OK.

5. Click the X button in the upper right corner to close the program.

6. Wait for the computer to completely close the program.

7. Start Microsoft Exchange by double-clicking in the INBOX icon.

8. In the window titled CHOOSE PROFILE, click NEW.

9. Click "Use the following information services", then uncheck all boxes except Internet Mail. Click NEXT.

10. Type in a name for your profile (like, "Diane's Profile). Click next.

11. In the next window, click "Modem", then click next.

12. In the next window, your Cyber City Honolulu dial-up connection should appear. If you have more than one dial-up connection, select your Cyber City Honolulu connection from the pull down menu. Click NEXT.

13. In the next box, click "specify the name", then type in honolulu.cchono.com . Click NEXT.

14. In the next box, select "Automatic", then click NEXT.

15. In the next box, type in your e-mail address, which is your   user name@cchono.com (example: diane@cchono.com). Click NEXT.

16. In the next box, type your True Link user name into the box titled "Mailbox name". Type in your True Link Password. Click NEXT.

17. In the next window, click NEXT.

18. In the next window, click NEXT.

19. In the final window, choose "Do not add inbox to the start-up group". Click NEXT.

20. Read the last box, then click FINISH.

21. The program will revert to the "Choose Profile" window. Make sure the profile you just created is indicated, then click OK.

22. When the "Connect to Cyber City Honolulu" window opens, click CANCEL. The Microsoft Exchange Program will open.

23. Click on the TOOLS menu. Select OPTIONS.

24. Under the GENERAL tab, select "Always use this profile", and ensure that the profile created above is selected. Click APPLY.

25. That's it! On the TOOLS menu, click on DELIVER NOW. You computer will dial-up True Link and your mail will be delivered, and any mail in your out box will be sent. You can go back and customize the options settings as you wish.
