Configuration for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and Windows 98

1. Click on the Start menu, select Programs, Internet Explorer, Connection Wizard

2. Select the second option, "I have an existing Internet account through my phone line or a local area network (LAN). Help me set up my computer to connect to connect to this Internet account.

3. Then Select the option: "Select this option if you are accessing the Internet using an Internet Service Provider or a local area network (LAN)." Click Next.

4. A new window will appear named "Internet Connection Wizard", Select the option "Connect using my phone line", then click Next.

5. A Window called "Install New Modem" will appear. Do not select "Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list." Click Next.

6. The computer will search for your modem, You will be shown one or more modems that are on your computer. Select the appropriate one then click Next. NOTE: You may be prompted for your Windows CDs or Disks.

7. Then Click the appropriate port that your modem is on. Click Next.

8. The screen will show, "Your modem has been set up sucessfully." Click Finish.

9. In the Window, "Internet Connection Wizard", Enter "792-2071" in the phone number field. Uncheck Dial using the area code and Country Code. Click Next.

10. Enter your username & password, both given to you at signup, in their respective fields. Click Next.

11. A question will appear, asking you if you would like to change the advanced
settings, select Yes. Click Next.

12. Another question will ask about the type of connection, select "PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol)". Click Next.

13. When asked about the logon procedure, select "I don't need to type anything when logging on." Click Next.

14. You'll be asked what Internet Protocol address you use, select "My Internet service provider automatically assigns me one." Click Next.

15. Next, you'll be asked about DNS server addresses. Select "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically". Click Next

16. When prompted to name your connection, type "Cyber City Honolulu". Click Next.

17. Select Yes, when prompted to set up your Internet Mail Account now. Click Next.

18. Select "Create a new Internet mail Account" to set up your Cyber City E-mail. Click Next.

19. Type a name that you would like people to see you as when they recieve your e-mail into the Display Name field. This could be your Full Name or a nickname. Click Next.

20. Type your e-mail address into the E-mail Address field. Your address is in the form "username@cchono.com" where, username is your username for your account. Click Next.

21. Be sure that, "My incoming mail server is "POP3"". In Incoming mail server, type
"pop.cchono.com". In Outgoing mail server, type "smtp.cchono.com". Click Next.

22. Click on "Log on Using:", and enter your username and password, same as
username and password in step 10, in the appropriate fields. Click Next.

23. No change is needed for the name of the mail account. Click Next.

24. Select Yes, when asked to set up an Internet News account now. Click Next.

25. Select "Create a new Internet news account". Click Next.

26. Type a name that you would like people to see you as when they view newsgroup messages into the Display Name field. This could be your Full Name or a nickname. Click Next.

27. Type in your e-mail address, in the form such mentioned in step 20. Click Next.

28. In the field News server, type "news.ccmaui.com". "My news server requires me to logon", should be unchecked.

29. No change is needed for the name of the news account. Click Next.

30. It is not required to setup your Internet directory service account. Select No. Click Next.

31. Click Finish to complete the configuration.
